Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman poses as Lyft driver

Richard Sherman took a on a new role, becoming a Lyft driver for a day.

The cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks went undercover for Lyft’s video series “Undercover Lyft.” The series places famous athletes in the driver’s seat.

Sherman, who goes by “Richie” in the video, puts on sunglasses and hat to cover his dreadlocks in order to hide his true identity. “Richie” has a “perfect five-star rating” and considers himself a “connoisseur of football.”

Sherman’s appearance in a Lyft video follows other off-field work he’s done, which includes landing sponsorships with T-Mobile, Oberto, and Amazon.

Lyft competes with Uber, another transportation company utilizing mobile apps.
