Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith did, in fact, write something after all.

The fourth-year Seahawks signal-caller has reportedly filed for a trademark of his famous postgame quote after upsetting Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football last week.

“They wrote me off. I ain’t write back though,” said the ten-year NFL veteran.

The trademark, filed on September 14th, covers “retail store services featuring virtual goods, namely, footwear, clothing, headwear, eyewear, sports bags, backpacks, sports equipment, art, toys, and accessories for use online; on-line retail store services featuring virtual merchandise, namely footwear, clothing, headwear, eyewear, bags, sports bags, backpacks, sports equipment, art, toys, and accessories for use in online virtual worlds.”

Looks like Smith may be writing his signature on plenty of checks in the near future.
