If it seems like Seattle drivers are honking more than they did five years ago, a new poll says they probably are.
How much time did Seattle drivers save on the roads in 2020?
According to a , over two-thirds of Seattle drivers say it’s appropriate to honk, whereas only half agreed you should hit the horn when the same question was asked in 2017.
When asked when drivers think you should you use the horn, most people said you should use it to warn someone when they are in danger or when a driver is endangering other people’s safety.
According to Washington state law, it鈥檚 illegal to honk for any reason other than to 鈥渆nsure safe operation.鈥
