Semi-truck collision blocks I-5 south express lanes

The express lanes in Seattle on I-5 south closed Saturday morning from Northgate to the Downtown area due to a collision involving two semi-trucks.
The accident occurred this morning at 8 a.m. on the express lanes near the WA-520 exit. Ambulances, fire trucks, and the State Patrol arrived on the scene as WSDOT officials closed the express lanes.
Several serious injuries have been reported, but the extent of injuries and the victims are unknown.
The WSDOT reopened the express lanes for full traffic at 9 a.m.
