Senator Warren returning to Seattle for rally Saturday

Senator Elizabeth Warren will be returning to Seattle on Saturday for a meet-and-greet and rally at the Seattle Center.

15,000 turn out in Seattle at Elizabeth Warren’s largest rally to date

Her visit will be less than a week after a rally for Senator Bernie Sanders in Tacoma on Monday. Former Mayor Pete Buttigieg visited Seattle over the weekend for a private fundraiser.

In Iowa, Warren placed third with 18 percent of the vote, behind Buttigieg and Sanders. She placed fourth in New Hampshire, receiving zero delegates.

that Saturday’s event will be first come, first served, no tickets required, though Warren’s campaign does encourage those who plan to attend to RSVP in advance. The event will start at 6 p.m., and doors open at 4:30 p.m.

When Warren visited Seattle last August, she drew an estimated 15,000 attendees, which her campaign later reported was her largest rally to date.

Warren is one of a few candidates who will be making stops in the Pacific Northwest, focusing their attention on Washington as the state’s primaries have been moved earlier this year, from May to March 10. The primaries now fall just one week after Super Tuesday.

Secretary of State Kim Wyman told 成人X站 Radio’s Gee and Ursula Show last week that she expects the earlier primary date will encourage more candidates to make stops in Washington.

2020 Democratic frontrunners turn focus to Washington state

鈥淚 am really optimistic [more candidates will campaign in Washington], mostly because of logistics,鈥 Wyman said. 鈥淲ith Super Tuesday, many of them will end up in California, I imagine. And then it鈥檚 just a nice, easy hop, skip, and a jump up here.鈥

Washington primary ballots will be mailed out in the last week of February.
