Sharp pencils prompt lockdown at Snohomish school

A middle school student in Snohomish is in custody after he or she apparently made threats with sharp pencils.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s says deputies are at Hidden River Middle School and the student was barricaded in the library.

The Monroe School District says the modified lockdown was lifted and there are no injuries.
