It was the bottom of the second inning when a baseball fan made a run for it across Safeco Field on Wednesday.

The barefoot, shirtless man didn’t make it very far.

The man was tackled between first and second bases, to the delight of fans.

The Mariners, however, failed to be as effective as Safeco security. The team narrowly lost 5-4 to the Detroit Tigers.
