Silver Alert canceled after elderly Issaquah man with Alzheimer’s found in Seattle

An 83-year-old man with Alzheimer’s who went missing has been found in Seattle after a Silver Alert was issued. He was reported missing in Issaquah on Wednesday.
Bryant Merrick left his home in the Providence Point area of Issaquah around 11 a.m. on Sept. 9 in his blue 2005 Chrysler 300 with Washington plate ADR1010.
A Silver Alert was issued on Thursday. Merrick was found on Friday. The Silver Alert is similar to the commonly used Amber Alert for missing children, however, it is used for missing elderly people.
Merrick moved to Issaquah from Everett within the last couple weeks and is not familiar with the area.
