Standoff ends after North Seattle shooting

Police detained five people who emerged from an apartment building after a standoff in North Seattle on Friday.
Officers believe one of the people may be a suspect in a shooting at where one man was shot in the leg.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old man is in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center after being shot multiple times near Rainier Beach High School early Friday morning.
The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. at in Seattle’s Dunlap neighborhood.
The victim fled to the school before calling 911. The teen suffered multiple wounds to the chest. When police arrived they found several shell casings at the scene.
The shooter remains at large. The Seattle Police Gang Unit has taken over the investigation.
