Starbucks announced it will remove 13 beverages from its menu on March 4 as part of a broader effort to streamline operations and focus on its most popular offerings. The changes, first reported by , include the removal of hot and cold drinks, as well as several Frappuccino varieties.

“As part of our plan to get back to Starbucks, we鈥檙e simplifying our menu to focus on fewer, more popular items, executed with excellence,” Starbucks said in a statement. “This will make way for innovation, help reduce wait times, improve quality and consistency, and align with our core identity as a coffee company.”

The company cited low sales, complex preparation, and menu redundancy as key reasons for the cuts. On Monday, Starbucks announced it was laying off 1,100 corporate employees.
