Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz took out a full-page advertisement in Saturday morning’s Wall Street Journal, titled “How can America win this election?”

The head of the Seattle coffee company is attributed to writing the letter addressing “concerned Americans” to discuss the restoration of the American Dream.

“Starting today, I invite you to share your view of America, and how we can all put citizenship over partisanship,” says Schultz in the letter.

Schultz points out that he grew up in public housing, and went on to express gratitude for the opportunities that have led to running Starbucks.

The letter doesn’t support a particular political candidate. Rather, it calls for Americans to join together, and strive to succeed as one nation.

Schultz calls for Americans to show him the vision of the America they want to see in the future. He also calls for an end to partisan politics in favor of pragmatism, and solving problems that affect us all.

“On Twitter, provide a link to an innovative idea. Blog about who’s making a difference in your community; or on YouTube, share how you made your American Dream come true. No matter where you post, if you use the tag #INDIVISIBLE, Starbucks will do its part to collect and amplify your voices,” adds Schultz.

The Starbucks CEO also mentions that stores are giving away free tall drip coffees on the 4th of July.

An email sent to Starbucks for comment was not immediately returned.
