Tanker truck rolls off road, leaking oil into Clallam County creek

A tanker truck went off the road and rolled into a creek in Clallam County, the Washington State Patrol reported Friday around 11 a.m.
The truck is currently leaking petroleum into Indian Creek at U.S. 101 at milepost 238.
Clallam County road closed after tanker truck crash
The road is fully blocked, with Joyce Piedmont Road to State Route 112 being used as an alternate route.
“Please use caution in the area as traffic is alternating,” WSP .
The Department of Ecology has been notified, and the driver was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
