Tony Reed to testify at brother’s trial over Arlington murders

The man accused of helping his brother hide the bodies of a slain Arlington couple last year will testify at his brother’s trial in September.

In a deal with prosecutors, Tony Reed will serve 14 months in prison with time served. He pleaded guilty to rendering criminal assistance in June.
His brother, John Reed allegedly killed his former neighbors last April near Arlington.
After the couple’s disappearance, the fugitive brothers were sighted several times in Mexico. Tony Reed later surrendered to U.S. Marshalls near the Mexican border.
John Reed, 54, is charged with murdering Patrick Shunn and Monique Patenaude.
