Medved: President Trump’s budget won’t pass as is

What jumps out of President Donald Trump’s proposed $4.1 trillion budget plan is the cuts to services for the poor.

But Michael Medved is telling people not to panic just yet.
“Remember President trump is the author of ‘The Art of the Deal,'” he told Seattle’s Morning News. “Given the fact that he is a deal maker, it is an opening offer.
“This budget will not be passed.”
However, the proposed budget, which also adds funding for the military, is a “statement of the direction that the country needs to go.”
“Are we going to actually throw millions off Medicaid? No. That would be a disaster for the country.”
Trump does seem to be scaling back on many of his promises, however. That doesn’t just include his “big, beautiful wall.”
At least this gives us something other to talk about than a Russian conspiracy and complete government meltdown.
