Western WA braces for heatwave with next-week highs forecasted in 90s

We could be in for some serious heat in the Puget Sound by the middle of the next week after a 聽predicted by Tuesday, July 26 temperatures will likely be above 90 — and maybe even above 95 degrees.
That means that you have a week to prepare for the hot weather next week, right now, NOAA is not certain of the exact temperatures, or how long this heat wave will last.
Authorities say Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are likely to be the hottest days.

鈥淟ong-range weather patterns point to even warmer weather next week, though the magnitude of heat is still uncertain at this time. But we could have a number of days next week well into the 80s around Seattle and 90 degrees is not out of the question somewhere in western Washington next week, so stay tuned,鈥� 成人X站 7 meteorologist Nick Allard said.
The show that on Tuesday, July 26, the Seattle-metro area has a 75% of reaching at least 85 degrees.
For Wednesday, July 27, Seattle has a 74% chance of reaching at least 85, and a 58% chance of hitting 90.
It is also expected to be hot in the South Sound region, with a 71% chance of reaching 90 degrees in Olympia.
They’re warning anyone sensitive to heat to take precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses, stay hydrated, and maybe seek out places that have effective cooling systems.
