The Forbes study used ten key metrics and analyzed the results of 5,000 drivers nationwide to pinpoint states with the most aggressive drivers.
The study concluded that 12% of respondents reported that another driver bumped, rammed, or otherwise damaged their car on purpose. 46% of people also said someone cut them off on purpose, and were insulted, cursed at, or threatened. An additional 5% said someone pointed a gun at and/or shot at them.
Forbes Advisor spokesperson Jennifer Lobb tells 成人X站 Newsradio that one of the reasons people are aggravated while on the road is because people behind the wheel are driving erratically or they are in a rush.

Top Five States With the Worst Road Rage:
- Utah: More than half (58%) of survey respondents from the Beehive State have been on the receiving end of a rude or offensive gesture while driving, 73% have been tailgated and 27% know of someone in their state that was injured due to road rage.
- Missouri: Show-Me State drivers were more likely than those in any other state to say that another driver cut them off on purpose (54%), and half of Missouri respondents (50%) said another driver has yelled at, insulted or cursed at them.
- Colorado: Centennial State drivers were the third most likely in the nation to say they had been followed by another driver who then exited their vehicle to yell at or fight with them (14%), and 46% of Coloradans said they had been insulted or threatened by other drivers.
- Oklahoma: Drivers in the Sooner State were the third most likely in the nation to say that another driver has exceeded the speed limit just to block their car from changing lanes (43%). Oklahomans also frequently reported being tailgated (66%), honked at (69%), and being the recipient of rude or offensive gestures (52%).
- New Mexico: 15% of drivers from the Land of Enchantment said another driver has followed their car and then exited the vehicle to yell at or fight with them, and 32% know of someone in their state who became injured in a road rage incident.
