Despite the freezing weather, there is still plenty to do for those looking to escape early signs of cabin fever.

Here are some of the biggest events around the Puget Sound area.

King County

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19

  • The first runner to cross the finish line will win a free turkey!

  • We offer human and dog treats from a dog bakery, adult beverages, and coffee for purchase.

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19
  • Time: 8 p.m.
  • Where: El Corazon
  • Experience one of the largest pop-up art movements to hit North America over the past decade.

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19
  • Time: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Where: Columbia City

  • From Atlanta to Seattle, the market is coming to you!

  • Day: Nov. 4 – Dec. 31
  • Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Where: 2125 1st Avenue, Seattle
  • 鈥淏it by Bit鈥 pays homage to the endless outcomes we create from tiny blocks and pixels, and in this exhibition, we will celebrate pixelism, 8-bit, generative, and algorithmic works.

  • Time: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Where: Club Comedy Seattle
  • The top five comedians advancing to the Finals week will be announced at the conclusion of this show.

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19
  • Time: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Where: 21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living
  • Work alongside knowledgeable 21 Acres staff on a variety of seasonal restoration and farm projects that build soil health and get the farm in shape for the next growing season.

  • Day: Fri, Nov. 18 and Sat., Nov. 19
  • Time: 9:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
  • Where: 2963 4th Ave S
  • Featuring top-tier local Seattle DJs, including KETA KINGZ, Saint Tripz, BVSS FVSS, and ProlifiK

Pierce County

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19
  • Time: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: Fort Nisqually Living History Museum
  • The museum gives residents and visitors a chance to experience what life was like on Puget Sound in 1855.

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Where: Raceway United, Kent
  • Celebrate 2022 and get ready for next season with Raceway United’s Open House and Social.

  • Day: Sun., Nov. 20
  • Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Where: 120 2nd St NE, Puyallup
  • 聽Only Active Duty Gold Star Family Members are able to register for this event.

  • Day: Sun., Nov. 20
  • Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Where: Lakewold Gardens
  • You’re invited to a聽sneak peek of Winter Solstice Lights, an array of light and sound installations designed by multimedia artist Sam Stubblefield, which will continue to illuminate the gardens from Nov. 25 to Jan. 2.

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19 and Sun., Nov. 20
  • Where: Rainier Reindeer Ranch
  • Size is limited to six visitors per session for a small, hands-on, intimate experience.

Snohomish County

  • Day: Sun., Nov. 20
  • Time: 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Where: Historic Downtown Snohomish
  • This one-day, pub crawl-styled mini-fest in historic Downtown Snohomish raises
    funds to send the local International Blues Challenge entrants to compete against 200 acts on fabled Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee, from Jan. 24- 28, 2023.

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19
  • Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Where: Valley View Middle School
  • There will be 125+ vendors to shop from during our one-day event. No admission fee, but bring your reusable totes to carry all your goodies!

  • Day: Sun., Nov. 20
  • Time: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Where: Rotary Park
  • Run or walk in beautiful Everett and redeem your drink ticket on race day at The Loft Coffee Bar, The Milkhouse Coffee, or Choux Choux Bakery.

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19
  • Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Where: Stocker Farms
  • This early-bird weekend is u-cut only, with the facility providing free shaking, baling, saws, and twine

  • Day: Sat., Nov. 19
  • Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Snohomish Senior Center
  • Check out local vendors, handmade goods, unique gifts, crafts, jewelry, art, and more.
