WSU police sergeant resigns over accusations of sexual misconduct

A (WSU) police sergeant accused of sexual misconduct while on duty has resigned.
According to KXLY-TV, Police Sergeant Matt Kuhrt submitted his resignation, effective Tuesday.

Officials said a university investigation found he had engaged in predatory grooming behavior while also making sexually explicit comments and nonconsensual physical contact with coworkers.
The investigation also found he engaged in sexual activities while on duty.
In August, three members of WSU Police鈥檚 command staff retired before they were to be disciplined for mishandling the sergeant鈥檚 sexual misconduct allegations.
