BRAIDS: New Music ‘Peach Wedding’ + chat, here

BRAIDS-NATIVE-SPEAKER

Over the past couple of years has been garnering lots of attention from taste making websites like Pitchfork and Filter and people around the globe have been taking notice and absolutely loving them. BRAIDS is Raphaelle Standell-Preston, Katie Lee, Austin Tufts and Taylor Smith who come to us by way of Montreal and will be performing this approaching Saturday, September 24th at The Sunset Tavern. Mostly lush and sometimes sparce atmospherics, odd time signatures and a heartbreakingly beautiful voice from lead vocalist Raphaelle Standell-Preston will envelope you, melt your heart and leave you breathless, wanting more. True. I have been having trouble breathing since I started listening to BRAIDS’ debut album Native Speaker and I’m fine with that.

BRAIDS has a 7″ split single with Purity Ring expected to drop this October 10th through which you should totally investigate.
