Ok. So Courtney Love has a certain reputation for being, oh you know, how do you say…tempermental. Yesterday wasn’t any different as she exploded into the tiny room of eager fans and radio folk asking for an i-phone charger hook-up and writing, in gray sharpie, the names down of various radio street teamers on their own shirts so that Love would remember them. That’s actually really rad if you ask me. And you didn’t so I’ll move on. I was a guest at ‘Endsession’ series where acts usually play a couple of songs acoustically and charm the tops off of everyone in the room. Love’s set lasted a little over an hour and featured lots of really great moments including but not limited to: discussions of who hates her (Jack White), how her finances are actually doing and what will be of the new bio pic about the late Kurt Cobain. The coolest thing that happened is the point in which Love said to biographer Charles Cross something about how this next song would really freak him out and she then proceeds to cover Pearl Jam’s ‘Jeremy’. Totally great. Listen below…
