Prolific Seattle songwriter/musician is celebrating his 40th birthday as well as his 20 year anniversary of making rock ‘n roll in this very city this Friday night and he’s asking you all to come and help him celebrate. Dear John Letters is just one of the many band’s that Robb has been a part of over the years and in honor of his 40th b-day the band is getting back together for one night only after a 7 year hiatus. This show promises to be classic. If you’re not familiar with Dear John Letters, I really think it’s time you get on cool train. Then, after you’re on that cool train I think you need to investigate some of the other projects Robb has worked with and currently is a part of like The Glass Notes (amazing), Dept. of Energy (amazing) and his newest musical adventure, The Great Um (that’s right. amazing) which will be opening up the night this Friday November 4th. I had the chance to chat with both Robb and Jake from The Glass Notes about a year ago and you can check that here. See you at the show!
