Wanna see a really great show tonight? You do? Great. Then what you’re going to need to do is head to Funny Button and check out this band called Dovekins. They come to Seattle by way of Coloradro and they are just itchin’ to rock your socks off. Or, maybe I should say folk your socks off. These guys are great! I had the chance to meet Blake, Griff, Stelth, Laura and Max when they dropped by the mixtape studios earlier today to play some tunes and chat about the origin of Dovekins, athlete’s foot, busking, which person in the band may or may not have had a love child recently, the proper way to rock a pizza joint and so much more.

We also played a rousing game of Name That Tune: 1977 Edition in honor of my birthday and Dovekins weren’t too shabby, I must say. Oh! I also have Dovekins debut album and brand new live album Assemble the Aviary and (A)Live to give to you.
