Quentin Dupieux is , a man who creates music that is inventive and awesome but it’s also, at times, extremely difficult to listen to a track (or even an entire album, for example) all the way through without having your head explode. But, that’s why we love Quentin. Because he challenges us. He’s kind of like my ex-girlfriend two girlfriends ago; a bit unbearable but ultimately a loveable character with lots to offer to the world. Actually, that’s not true at all. My ex-girlfriend two girlfriends ago was a drunken hot mess of a girl that drove me effing crazy without a bit of a loveable character underneath her skin.

Mr. Oizo has just released his latest full length Stade 2, which you can purchase and he’s also about to unveil his newest film, Wrong which will be premiering at Sundance 2012. Much like Mr. Oizo’s music his films are inventive and awesome and frustrating. Or, maybe I should say challenging. Yes, challenging. If you want to get an idea of what I’m talking about you should , a film Quentin released last year about a killer tire. It’s a great film that I still don’t fully understand.
