Wanna see 10 local bands fight to the death this weekend? It’s gonna be killer. Ok. There’s not going to be a fight to the death. It’s just 10 bands who will be hanging out and playing tunes for you with the hope of winning Gimme the Gig’s highly coveted grand prize – a recording session with big shot record producer . Nice. This is Gimme the Gig’s second time around and instead of having just one lucky winner record with Mr. Was, the Gig will be choosing 3 bands to record one song each with him and you can It’s much more than just this one Seattle concert event.

I got the chance to chat with a few of the bands playing this weekend and I suggest you have a listen. It may just change your life. Yes, it’s true. The bands I bring in and the interviews I conduct are generally life changing. I’m not saying it’s good life changing but life changing none the less. Check my chat with Perry Acker, Doxology, In Cahoots and The Royal Bear.

Oh, and I will totally be at the Gimme the Gig this weekend too! Come find me and I will give you something.

New Music: Onuinu – ‘Happy Home’

Dorian Duvall is Onuinu, (on-you-in-you) an electro-pop music maker coming to us from Portland, OR whose pseudonym is one that I’m sure will confuse the masses with it’s exact pronunciation for years to come. It’s a good thing that the music coming form this dude is something worth paying attention to or else it would […]

What a shame. Well, […]
