Seattle band The Maldives are playing the Tractor Tavern this Saturday November 19th and you really need to go to this show if you know what’s good for ya. If you’re a fan of country tunes, The Maldives have you covered. If you like rock tunes, The Maldives have you covered. If you like to drink whiskey and don’t mind a tear in your beer every now and again, I’m telling you that The Maldives’ show is where it’s at.

I had the chance to chat with guitarist Jesse B. and lead singer/guitarist Jason D. when they dropped by the mixtape recently and we chatted about music, what it’s like to provide live orchestration for a silent film, being on MTV, the difference between wrasslin and rustling and The Maldives were cool enough to play a rousing game of Name That Tune: Country/Folk/90’s Indie Rock Edition and we also drank whiskey.
