New Album: Teenage Bad Girl – Backwash

I’ve been following aka French boys Guillaume Manbell and Greg Kazubski since the release of their head cracking 2007 debut Cocotte, and I don’t think I’ve been the same since. I mean, I have this weird bump on the back of my head and I occasionally wake up in the middle of the night drooling. Oh, and I’m fluent in French but can only speak it while listening to Cocotte. Oh well. It’s cool.
It’s four years on and Teenage Bad Girl are back with their second LP, Backwash. I’ve only had a few good listens to this record, but it’s pretty solid save for the songs ‘Black Hole’ feat. Todd Fink (barf) and Heart Zero Beating (pointless). Other than those two cuts the record is fairly satisfying with ‘Ton Ton Funk’, ‘Keep Up With You’, ‘The Wave’ and ‘Boogie Toy’ being a few standout tracks. The digital version is out now which you can purchase through , but if you’re awesome (and I know that you are) and you want to wait until June 13th you can purchase the physical copy. Have a listen to Backwash below if you wish…
