New Music: Depressed Buttons

Depressed Buttons is the dance/house infused project of Todd Fink, Clark Baechle, and Jacob Thiele who make up three-fifth’s of the electro indie rock band The Faint. The Faint? No thanks. Depressed Buttons? Yes please. and one of the stand outs is a cut called ‘Ow!’. The track starts out with a simple drum loop, some groovy, jittery synth and a high pitched, almost childlike sounding sample of ‘ow’ before the beat drops unearthing an all out dance jam. So good!

One other cool thing. Depressed Buttons will be playing this year’s Decibel Festival which takes place right here in Seattle.
