New Music: Purity Ring – ‘Ungirthed’ b/w ‘Lofticries’

I’ve just found out about this electro pop group called Purity Ring and I suggest you check ’em out. Purity Ring comes to us from Corin and Megan James, a couple of folks who are part of another group with an interesting sound called . (Corin is in the band currently and Megan was in GBL’s first incarnation) The song ‘Ungirthed’ is glitchy and choppy and absolutely great but it’s the vocal contribution from Megan James that keeps me coming back for more.
