20 year old Abel Tesfaye comes from Toronto, Canada and is about to blow up. I just know he is. He has to. Abel Tesfaye aka The Weeknd uploaded three songs: ‘What You Need’, ‘Loft Music’ and ‘The Morning’, to YouTube in late 2010 and just this past March he dropped his debut mixtape (which he promptly picked back up) House of Balloons which . Get it, you will love it.

The Weeknd is some kind of futuristic R&B that I’ve never heard before. The atmosphere of House of Balloons is seductive, it’s nocturnal and it will make you want to have sexy times with an adult person of your choosing, or your stereo.

Below is the first song I heard from this dude and I love it so much. It’s what made me fall for The Weeknd. It’s good. To say the least.
