The video for the song ‘Madder Red’ from newest record Odd Blood certainly hits all the emotional highs and lows expected to come from a loving and meaningful relationship between a girl and her…well, this is where it gets a tad odd. I don’t know WTF! the thing is that this girl cares for so very much. I do know that it’s a weird brain looking creature with one eye, a gimpy arm, an occasional bloody mouth and that it oozes green goo. But other than that I’m kinda in the dark. Heck, maybe the creature in the video is just an homage to the grotesque 1982 comedy horror film Basket Case and
