At first glance I was not impressed with the line-up whatsoever. Sure, you’ve got the big name headliners like Bob Dylan, Mary J Blige, The Decemberists, Hole and Weezer which is all fine and good but I wasn’t blown away. Then you have all the other bands. Some I knew, most I didn’t, and I was like ‘eh’. However, upon closer inspection and after spending some time listening to artists that I had no idea who they were, I became more involved and interested with the whole Bumbershoot thing. I’ve gotta say there are some definite gems that stand out above the rest that aren’t necessarily known by the masses. Now, I am completely stoked!

With I play for you lots of music from some of the shiniest gems that will be performing this weekend like Baroness, Great Waves, Delorean, Idiot Pilot, The Lonely H, The Physics and oh so much more.
