Prussia: New Music + Interview = Awesome.

Detroit’s Prussia have been active since 2007 when friends Ryan and Andrew had the brilliant idea to put some of their 4 track recordings out into the world. The plan was to give music to some friends and hopefully the friends would then enjoy said music. Well, that totally happened. What else totally happened however was that other people started catching on to this amazing experimental pop music that was beginning to circulate around town…and completely loving it. What soon followed was an album, then a tour, and then more albums. One of which is a completely brand new EP called Four For Attention that you will absolutely adore. Prussia has just finished up their latest LP Poor English and it should be released in the next few months.

Check my chat with singer/guitarist Ryan Spencer to learn more about Prussia and what the heck a song cycle is. It’s pretty cool actually. Oh! Prussia released another record, Prussia Goes To the Disco via cassette. Are you kidding me? Awesome.
