That’s what the subject line read in an email I recieved this afternoon from Kaitlin, one of our Digital Account Executives. Within the email Kaitlin mentioned that she is working with Scott Sizemore who is running for congress and that he told her about something called ‘Seattle Busking Day’. If you’re not hip to the game of busking, it’s the practice of performing in public places for tips. So, whenever you see that guy on the corner in any given city drumming on all of those plastic buckets and keeping that really sweet beat or juggling or reading poetry or whatever, that’s a busker.
Scott’s looking for local musicians to that happens this Saturday, June 12th, in Pioneer Square. I had no idea who this guy was so I decided to google him. Yes, that sounds dirty, I know. Or, maybe it’s just me. Anywhoo, I googled ‘Seattle Busking Day’, found Scott’s website, read what he is and was both impressed and on board. He’s got some really good thoughts about certain issues and an interesting so good luck to you, Scott, with the running for Washington’s 7th Congressional District and happy ‘Seattle Busking Day’!
