Sasquatch! Music Festival 2011: Even Squatchier
May 26, 2011, 8:05 PM
10 years on and is going strong. Really strong. So strong in fact that I almost wasn’t going to be able to attend this year. But, thanks to getting some strings pulled and some calls made, I am now able to enjoy the sweet soothing sounds of Death From Above 1979 (yes, they’ve reunited and it feels so good), Sleighbells, The Flaming Lips, Cold War Kids, MSTRKRFT, Gayngs and a crap ton more bands that you need to know about.
This years Squatch is completely sold out. Oh, don’t cry. It’ll be ok. Hey! Step away from that ledge! Stop! Oh, geez. There goes another one. Ok, listen. Instead of jumping out of a window or slitting open a part of your body that holds vital fluid that keeps you alive, maybe you should listen to the latest mix I put together with Sasquatch Special Correspondent Alyssa K. That would probably be your best bet. It’s smart, it’s funny and it’s chock full of tunes from bands playing Sasquatch.
Yay! Listen here and stay alive.
So, keep your eyes and ears tuned to mynorthwest.com for all of your Sasquatch related needs. In the coming days you’ll find interviews with bands, photos of bands, bootlegged music from bands and more. Bootlegged? I meant to say non-bootlegged music from bands. See ya Monday!
