Sleigh Bells.

Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss have been involved in the music scene for a while now and it’s only recently that I’ve known of their existence. For the recent incarnate of Sleigh Bells, Derek is on beat production, guitars and songwriting while Alexis is in charge of vocals. Together, they have managed to create some really interesting music. At first listen I was definately put off by the heavy distortion and wondered if they were meaning to have all of the audio levels completely jacked. However, they do completely jacked well, with electronic beats that pound your skull unrelentlessly and guitars that squeal and crunch at the same time all with extremely catchy hooks. Then you have Alexis’ voice that can growl and croon, sometimes buried beneath the noise rock that encompasses her but one listen to ‘Ring Ring’ and you’ll fall in love.
Sleigh Bells is going to blow up, keep an eye out.
