‘ debut record Treats was supposed to hit store shelves May 11th but now it’s been delayed until June. The duo, who are Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss got picked up by a major label so now the general public must wait just a tad longer to be smacked around by the massive aural assault that Sleighbells unleash. I received this top secret information through one of my super undercover mixtape correspondents, so I’m sure it’s completely accurate.
However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t get a first listen to Treats. Yes, the entire thing! is awesome and has that for you below…
Regarding the song titles some changes have occurred, and, some songs that were floating around the internets are absent from the album. A song called ‘Beach Girls’, for example, is now called ‘Kids’ which also has some changes in the song production and another song which was called ‘Ring Ring’ has been changed to ‘Rill Rill’. Go figure.
You can purchase the album in digital format from iTunes . I was told by Derek Miller himself that the iTunes version was supposed to have some extra tracks so we’ll see if that happens when the album drops in June. You can also pre order Treats on vinyl and CD from InSound .
