A few weeks ago I mentioned that The Flaming Lips were set to release a cover of Pink Floyds, The Dark Side of the Moon. Yes, in its entirety. Well, it has finally ! I’m a big fan of both The Flaming Lips and Pink Floyd so I’m really hoping that this experimental project will have some merit. Uh Oh! Take a look below and check out this customer review taken from the albums …

So when I heard about this I was got incredibly excited. The Flaming Lips plus the Dark Side of the Moon, what could go wrong?
Apparently a lot. I’ve listened to this album 3 times. I listened all the way through and I tried to enjoy it and I just can’t. I enjoy when an artist covers another and adds their own style to the song. But they went to far with this album and completely destroyed the songs. Money is the only good song on this release and it’s not even that great of a track.
I’m just really disappointed in this release.
Yikes!
