The Tractor Tavern hosted a sold out show this past weekend as the city of Seattle welcomed back to familiar digs with open arms. The Maldives have been touring cities here and there a lot lately and have had no trouble making people swoon wherever they happen to take up residence. This time around it happened to be the Tractor. I walked into the Tractor and was astonished to see the place packed to the gills. I had had no idea that this band was as popular as they are around the city before entering the club. Sure, I had talked with Jason and Jesse of The Maldives earlier in the week (go here to listen to that awesome time) and they told me that the show would probably sell out as this was somewhat of a homecoming show for the band and they were absolutely correct in their prediction.
