Eric and Michele Ankrum are first-time home buyers, and needed a few pointers from a real estate expert while house shopping. What they got was Seattle Seahawk Richard Sherman.

In a new video ad produced by Seattle-area real estate website , Sherman surprised the Ankrums as they looked for homes in the San Francisco area — 49ers territory. Teammate Bobby Wagner tagged along. While the Seahawks were on hand to guide the Ankrums through the process, the two parties couldn’t pass up the chance to subtly taunt the other.
“In this real estate market, deals can be tipped away at the last second,” Sherman said, perhaps referencing the 2014 NFC championship game with the San Francisco 49ers.
“Are you trying to hurt our feelings?” Eric said.
Later, when showing a spare room, painted deep blue …
“It’s a winning color. Don’t you feel like a winner when you see it,” Sherman asked.
“I feel like it’s a color that’s maybe won once,” Eric said. “If the walls were maybe red and gold, maybe I would say it’s a four-time champion color.”
“But it’s not doing a lot for you lately,” Sherman quickly said. “OK. Ceilings …”
It wasn’t always digs between the two. Sherman made sure to dig into the refrigerators of each house he showed.
