50 years after Roe v. Wade was handed down by the Supreme Court, anti-abortion rights supporters can breathe a sigh of relief with Friday’s landmark decision, overturning federal protections for abortion. KTTH Radio’s Jason Rantz and Bryan Suits react to the decision as immediate bans on abortion take effect in states like Oklahoma and Louisiana.

This is a great day for life. Abortion was never a constitutional right. Now be ready for the hypocritical left who, while claiming they must uphold the rule of law from a tyrant in Trump, will call for us to ignore the Court and explicitly or implicitly call for violence and unrest, Jason Rantz said.

This can’t be overstated. We are living history right now. Roe v. Wade was decided in January of 1973. Fast forward nearly 50 years. A monumental day, a landmark day that many pro-life people like myself have been hoping and praying for in this country. There’s an alternative view that the sky is falling here. The nation has been deeply divided on this topic, KTTH’s Bryan Suits’ producer Greg Tomlin said.

So many people who voted for Donald Trump that might have had qualms with him otherwise believed this was an opportunity to elect a president who might pave the way towards the possibility of overturning Roe v. Wade. I talked to many people that said, ‘Trump’s gonna get a lot of SCOTUS picks, and this will be the one chance in my generation to overturn Roe.’ Lo and behold, this day has come to pass just moments ago.

The will of the States will be expressed. If the legislature of Idaho wants to ban abortion, they get to do that.

If you disagree, you get to vote for people that would not do that. Here in the state of Washington, they say the possibility of abortion in any way, shape, or form being restricted is zero.

Democrats are very uncomfortable right now with the fact that the governor of California is acting like he’s going to be running in 2024. We’re about to see. This is going to be a democratic talking point today for them, today’s a gigantic fundraising opportunity. They’re still going to lose Congress and possibly the Senate in November.

Listen to the Jason Rantz Show weekday afternoons from 3 – 6 p.m. on KTTH 770 AM (or HD Radio 97.3 FM HD-Channel 3). Subscribe to the podcast here.
