Barry Manilow announced his final concert in Seattle, appearing on “Seattle’s Morning News” on 成人X站 Newsradio Wednesday to give fans a sneak peek at his show. The pop superstar will be performing at the Climate Pledge Arena on July 12.
鈥淪eattle has been very important,” Manilow said. “So we’ve been there a lot鈥� I kind of know Seattle.鈥�
Manilow is a Grammy, Tony, and Emmy-winning music icon who is known for songs such as “Copacabana,” “Can鈥檛 Smile Without You,” “Mandy,” and many others.
“It鈥檚 been quite a career that I鈥檝e had,” Manilow said. “I never expected it. I was going to be a musician, not a performer. But here I am. Still going.”

The show promises all the hits.
鈥淚 used to do a lot of album cuts,鈥� Manilow explained. 鈥淏ut I realized the audiences really want to hear the hits. And I鈥檓 there for them, not for me.鈥�
Manda highlighted how Manilow’s songs fit into everyday culture.
鈥淵ou hear the Band-Aid jingle, the State Farm jingle鈥� For me personally, it鈥檚 ‘Mandy,’鈥� Manda said, laughing. 鈥淢y mom calls me Mandy.鈥�
Manda then asked if Barry could record a ringtone for her again.
