Adam Carolla never imagined he and his former television show co-host Jimmy Kimmel would be where they are today.
The two former hosts of “The Man Show” were in Seattle years ago to watch basketball. They stayed in a less-than-ideal motel in Kirkland during their time in the Emerald City.
Now, things are a little different.
Kimmel, who hosts Jimmy Kimmel Live!, hosted President Barack Obama on his show Thursday.
“The guy had Obama on last night,” Carolla told The Dori Monson Show on Friday. “I watched it and it’s surreal.”
And Carolla, well, he is attending the premiere of Road Hard at The Neptune Theatre Friday. The movie is one of his latest projects. The story follows a stand-up comic who went through an expensive divorce and the cancellation of his TV show, and is forced to go on tour.
Two showings will be 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Carolla will host a Q&A session.
“Basically, see the movie with the guy that wrote and directed and starred in the movie,” Carolla said. “Then you have to act like you like it because I’m standing there.”
