Are you one of those people who has a hybrid vehicle? Or maybe you have an electric car?
You bought your vehicle because you wanted to save on gas, cut your carbon emissions, and save the planet. After all, everyone in government around here tells us that fossil fuel emissions are such a horrible thing.
Beginning Tuesday, if you are getting your car tab bill in the mail, you’ll see an additional $75-per-year car tab fee to finance electric car charging stations. Click to read the bill that mandates it (you’ll find this fee on page 40).
You see, the Democrats decided that they wanted to build electric charging stations around the state. So you will get to pay $75 for these stations that will be built in the future.

If you have a standard hybrid, you still have to pay to put gas in — and pay a 68-cent-per-gallon gas tax. But now you also have to pay an extra $75 for the all-electric vehicle owners’ charging stations.
This is why we need to vote yes on this November. That will restore $30 car tabs in Washington. In this “death by a thousand cuts,” the politicians will have to put the knife away for a while.
