Jay Inslee and Fergie have just announced yet another lawsuit against the Trump administration. This one is because of coal power plants in the country. What this has to do with Washington is beyond me. But Jay Inslee wants to be president and Fergie wants to be governor, so getting their names out there by fighting Trump is their top priority — even if it means that they’re just talking nonsense.

, a professor of atmospheric sciences and weather blogger from the University of Washington, told ³ÉÈËXÕ¾ Radio’s Ron and Don on Tuesday that these forest fires have been historically normal for this region for the past hundred years. They’re nothing new and they’re certainly not caused by climate change.

Some of the stuff that Gov. Inslee said on Wednesday during his announcement of the lawsuit is mind-boggling. “It is clear that President Trump has sold out the health of our children to the coal industry,” he said. Actually, the coal industry has gone dramatically cleaner over the last century. Jay Inslee has no facts to back up what he says.

Then Jay Inslee went and used the phrase “nothing-burger.” Anybody who uses that phrase reveals their emptiness. Talk about a tired, nonsense, overused phrase. So that’s what we’re basing lawsuits on? Your perception of “nothing-burgers?”

According to Inslee, a forest fire that begins in British Columbia and that is as bad as it is because of management of forests — nothing to do with carbon emissions or coal smoke — is Donald Trump’s fault. The carbon tax in British Columbia — similar to the bogus carbon tax Jay Inslee wants to inflict on us — obviously did nothing to stop their forest fires and, , has done nothing to stop their carbon emissions.

Then there is our attorney general, Bob Ferguson. If our attorney general was anything more than a political hack, he would sue the teachers who are about to go on illegal strikes, but he can’t lose their support as he climbs the political ladder. He can’t afford to enforce state law against Democrats. So he’d rather file this nonsense lawsuit against the Trump administration.
