Have I told you lately how much I love you?
I wanted to just take a moment as we head into the weekend to try to express in words what is in my heart about our Dori Monson Show community – about you. This is the most disconcerting time of our lives. We are all filled with passion, fear, anger, uncertainty, and every other emotion in the human experience.
Those feelings that have taken over our lives are generally negative. I want to make sure I try to counterbalance all of that with an inventory of what is right and good. So now I am focusing on gratitude. I am blessed with a community of listeners and MyNorthwest readers who reflect the spectrum of what we are all going through right now. These are incredibly divisive times – and I hear hundreds of times a day via texts and e-mails from those of you who strongly disagree with me. I appreciate that feedback as much as I do the many messages of support and assent.
When you take the time to share your take on our crazy world and these insane times, we are bonded by our passion. I am honored that you give our radio show your most valuable asset – your time. Even when we disagree.
So thank you. We’ll keep on trying to figure out this craziness together. I appreciate you listening and reading. You continue to be one of the greatest blessings in my life. God Bless you. Onward and upward.
