DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Iran’s foreign minister said Tuesday that he and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff will be in indirect talks in Oman over Tehran’s nuclear program.
Abbas Araghchi made the comments to Iranian state television while on a visit to Algeria.
There was no immediate acknowledgement from the U.S. that Witkoff would lead the U.S. delegation. U.S. President Donald Trump had described the talks this Saturday in Oman as being direct talks.
