A class of fifth graders in Washington state have successfully petitioned state lawmakers to protect the mythical creature of Sasquatch for a third year in a row. Is this a harmless civics lesson, a critically important protection for the Pacific Northwest’s most famous cryptid, or a LIE we are telling to children?
