Paste Magazine published a review of Taylor Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, that was, well – pretty scathing. And Paste did something very interesting when they put that article online: they excluded the name of the critic from the byline. Apparently, the last time a Taylor Swift album got a negative review on their site, the author had received threats of violence from ‘stans’ of Swift. Jack Stine psychoanalyzes the terror that is white woman on a (murderous?) ramapage.
