Kitsap County authorities investigate Poulsbo area man’s death as homicide

Authorities are investigating the death of a 50-year-old man from the Poulsbo area as a homicide, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said.
鈥淒eputies were dispatched to investigate a suspicious death after the man鈥檚 body was found outside his home,鈥� according to a post on the Kitsap County Sheriff鈥檚 Office . 鈥淔urther investigation by deputies and the Kitsap County Medical Examiner found evidence of homicidal violence.鈥�
KCSO detectives secured the house in the 22000 block of Big Valley Road NE, the post said. A forensic team arrived on the scene Monday to gather more evidence.
The sheriff鈥檚 office has not yet released details on the victim鈥檚 identity or cause of death.
