A car smashed into a cannabis shop early Tuesday morning in Seattle’s Lake City neighborhood.
An employee at Herb’n Elements, a dispensary, arrived this morning to find a silver Kia Forte still running and wedged between two concrete pillars meant to deter this kind of crime.
“It was 4 a.m. so I was not really awake yet. But it was definitely a shock, especially to see that the car was still running and just stuck there. And the windshield wipers were on,” Alexandria Nung, an employee at the store said.
The store says no cash is kept on hand at the location, but employees say the thieves got away in another car with a bag containing at least one customer’s order.
Seattle police tell us they don’t know how many suspects there were. No arrests are reported, and police are not releasing a description of the suspects.
